How we use SMS
Users initiate the SMS verification process within the Asktrology mobile application by entering their own mobile phone number. Before requesting the verification code, the user is presented with the SMS consent disclosure and must actively select an unchecked checkbox confirming their consent to receive a one-time SMS verification code from Asktrology. The checkbox is not pre-selected. Only after providing this consent can the user tap “Send Verification Code.” No SMS is sent without this affirmative user action. Messages are transactional only and users are not enrolled in any recurring or marketing messaging program.

Friends needs your phone number. On that screen an unchecked consent checkbox sits directly above Send verification code. You must tick it before the button works. We text a one-time code. You type it back. Done.

Invite from your contacts

On Not on Asktrology, pick people you know and tap Invite. The same notice is on that screen. Each tap sends one invitation — not a campaign, not a follow-up sequence.
